Here I am on stage last week to collect a Landscape Institute Highly Commended Award for Liverpool Library with Austin-Smith:Lord and Hardscape. Much. Fun. Was. Had.

In between (a few) glasses of wine I quizzed some landscape architects I know who set up on their own a few years earlier than me and now have EMPLOYEES. It sounds exciting and a little scary. I have some brilliant freelancers working for me on various projects, but at some point I think I might need to grooooow…
